This Policy explains how PrepSync (“we,” “us”) collects and uses information through the PrepSync website, app, curriculum, and printed materials (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy. If a student is a minor, a parent or guardian agrees on their behalf.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect account and user information (“User Information”) consisting of name, email, login, grade level, progress, payment information (processed through Stripe — we don’t store full card numbers), and basic usage/device information.

3. How We Use Information

We use User Information to provide the Services, track student progress, process payments, respond to support requests, detect unauthorized use, and improve our curriculum/services.

4. Sharing

We don’t sell your information. We share it only with licensees who administer your account, service providers (like Stripe) who help run the Services, or as required by law.

5. Minors’ Information

Students may be minors, using PrepSync with a parent or guardian’s agreement. We collect only what’s needed to provide tutoring services, and parents/guardians may request to review, update, or delete their child’s information.

6. Security & Retention

We take reasonable measures to protect your information and retain it only as long as needed for the Services or legal purposes.

7. Your Choices

Contact us to access, correct, or delete your (or your student’s) information.

8. Changes

Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of changes.

9. Governing Law

This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.
