1. Acceptance
By using the PrepSync website and app, curriculum, and/or printed materials (“PrepSync” or the “Services”), you agree to these Terms. If a student is a minor, a parent or guardian must agree on their behalf.
2. What You Can’t Do
Your access to PrepSync materials (including all online and in-app content and physical materials) is licensed to you personally — it isn’t sold. You may not:
- Copy, photograph, or screenshot the materials
- Share, post, resell, or lend the materials, your login, or your notebook to anyone else
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or extract content from the site
- Remove copyright or trademark notices
Breaking these rules can result in immediate suspension, without refund, and PrepSync may pursue all remedies available at law or in equity, including damages and injunctive relief.
3. Ownership
All Curriculum Materials — including the underlying curriculum design and instructional methodology, the content and presentation, and all other original works of authorship made available through the Services — are protected by copyright and remain the exclusive property of PrepSync. The “PrepSync” name and logo are trademarks of PrepSync, and the overall look, feel, and design of the Services constitute PrepSync’s trade dress. No copyright, trademark, trade dress, or other intellectual property right is transferred to you by these Terms, and all rights not expressly granted are reserved.
4. Login and Printed Materials
Your login credentials are for you alone. Keep them confidential, and tell us right away if you think someone else has accessed your account. Any printed materials are issued to you individually and may not be photocopied, scanned, or passed on to anyone else — including after you finish the program.
5. Payment
Fees, whether paid by a licensee or an individual user, are due as described at signup and are non-refundable except where a separate agreement or the law provides otherwise. These Terms also apply to any renewal subscriptions, products, or services purchased through PrepSync.
6. Ending Access
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, without refund, if you violate these Terms. Suspension or termination does not waive PrepSync’s right to pursue any other remedy available at law or in equity, including injunctive relief and litigation for breach of contract, copyright or trademark infringement, or misappropriation.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, and disputes will be handled in the courts there.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the changes.
